DUFFIELD'S men's team has triumphed at the 2011 AEGON Team Tennis County Open play-offs.
The four-man side will face clubs from across the Midlands next year after winning the first stage of the event.
Having whitewashed The Park Tennis Club in the first round, they sealed victory with a 10-2 win over Grimsby Tennis Centre.
Richard Harrison beat Trevor Kelly 6-2, 6-3; Chris Beastall lost 3-6, 6-7 to Simon Baldwin; Jonathan Hughes overcame Adam Wrightham 6-4, 7-5 and Steven Amey won 6-4, 6-1 against Joseph Beal.
In the doubles, Harrison and Amey won 6-1, 6-3 against Kelly and Baldwin, while Hughes and Beastall beat Wrightham and Beal 7-6, 6-1.
Team captain Edward Oakenfull said: "This is the first time we will have been in the regional section for 10 years and it's a wonderful achievement."
