Derby Tennis Centre's Head of Player Development Mike James is celebrating this month after securing the post of Head Coach at Graves Tennis and Leisure Centre in Sheffield.
Mike has worked at Derby TC for three years and in that time has established himself as one of the most popular coaches in Derbyshire as well as playing a key role in developing some of the most talented young players that have emerged in the county.
In recognition of his contribution, Mike was presented with the Derbyshire Coach of the Year trophy at the Annual Awards Evening in February 2011. He has also captained the Derbyshire 12&U Boys Team for the last two years in the Junior County Cup.
Mike will be leaving his post in mid March and everyone involved in Derbyshire Tennis wishes him the best of luck in his new post.
