Nominations are now open for the Derbyshire Sports Awards.
Categories include Sportsperson of the Year, Junior Sportsman of the Year, Sportswoman of the Year, Disabled Sportsperson of the Year, Junior Disabled Sportsperson of the Year, Community Coach of the Year, Performance Coach of the Year, Young Sports Leader/Young Coach of the Year and Club of the Year, as well as the Service to Sport Award.
Nominees should be nominated in the district they live in. If a nominee lives outside of the county they should be nominated in the district they compete or volunteer in.

The closing date for the Bolsover District Sports Awards is August 16, 2013.
The closing date for Sports Awards in Amber Valley, Chesterfield and North East Derbyshire, Derby, Erewash, High Peak and South Derbyshire is August 30, 2013.
The closing date for the Derbyshire Dales Sports Awards is September 8, 2013.
