This week sees the Aegon British Junior National Championships 2013 taking place at Nottingham Tennis Centre and West Hants Club, Bournemouth, and Derbyshire have been well represented, with 9 players in the 12-18 age groups.
Victoria Allen and Harry Finney both made it to quarter finals in the 12&U events, with Harry and Bradley Buckland playing in the 12 Boys Doubles semi-finals today. Jay Clarke also made it to the quarter finals stage of the 16&U event and he and Marcus Walters were winners of the 16 Boys Doubles event.

12&U Girls Singles
Victoria Allen (5) beat Monet Baptiste 6-0 6-0, Tanysha Dissanayake (11) 6-1 6-2, then lost at QF stage to Esther Adeshina (3) 6-3 6-4.
12&U Boys Singles
Ellis Corbet lost in the first round.
Bradley Buckland (2) beat Toby Samuel 6-4 6-3 and then lost to Jed Alexander (16) 6-2 6-1.
Harry Finney (13) beat Ross Spinner 6-1 6-3, Connor Ferguson 6-0 6-4, Matthew Hollingworth (3) 6-2 6-1 and then lost in the QFs to Vincent Chen (6) 6-2 6-2.
16&U Boys
Jay Clarke (2) beat Sebastien Butler 6-3 6-2 and Jack Burkill 6-4 4-6 6-2 before losing to Thomas Wright (11) 4-6 6-4 6-4 in the Quarter Finals.
Sam Ferguson beat Benjamin Clark 6-3 4-6 7-5 then lost to Luke Stevenson (7) 7-5 6-1
16&U Girls
Ceire Mullins (12) lost her first match in the second round of the competition.
18&U Boys
Curtis Clarke lost in the first round.
18&U Girls
Katy Wilson (14) lost her first match in the second round of the competition as did Louise Holtum (13).
