Derbyshire Winter Mini Tennis League Mini Red Division 1 final goes to playoff!
The final round of the DWMT League Mini Red Division 1 finished up with an unexpected result, with both the Ripley and David Lloyd 1 teams tied on points at the end of all their matches. With both teams having beaten the other, the referee Fiona Fellows, was left with no alternative but to instruct them to prepare for a tie-break play-off.
Both teams agreed that the play-off would consist of Player 1 and Player 3, and after a tough battle, David Lloyd 1 emerged the victors, winning the play-off 10-6. The photo shows the winning team of Ben Robinson, Kieran Edworthy, Matthew Ferguson and Lewis Allton. Congratulations also go to Max Williams who played for the team in the first round of matches.
