The Bernard Sunley Charitable Foundation provides grants under several categories, one being ‘Amateur Sports’. To be eligible the organisation must be a Community Amateur Sports Club or UK registered charity.
Types of funded activities include:
- Building and refurbishment of amateur sports facilities
- Sports equipment
- Equipment for grounds maintenance
- Specialised transport
There are three sized grants available:
Small – up to and including £5,000
Medium – £5,001 to £25,000
Large – over £25,000 (awarded in exceptional circumstances)
