We are delighted to announce that Will McNally is joining the team and working with Devon Tennis in a new and exciting role to co-ordinate and develop junior performance tennis. This part time role of ‘County Performance Co-ordinator’ will be fundamental in the provision and development of a performance county training programme, Devon’s County Cup teams, and ensuring that there is a ‘conveyor belt’ of talent coming through at mini tennis level.
Will is no stranger to Devon tennis as he was the Director of Tennis at Exeter Tennis Centre for 11 years as well as a county coach. He has a wealth of experience, both on and off the court, coaching and working within the tennis industry.
“I am over the moon to be working with Devon Tennis on such a crucial area and one where I feel I can make a positive impact. The objective is simple - to develop a junior county plan that benefits the players. I want this plan to be one that we all believe in and will encourage players, parents and the coaches. I’m really looking forward to working with the many fantastic people we have here in Devon - coaches, officials, managers and not forgetting the players! Together I'm convinced we can build some great programmes and develop Devon Tennis."
