Courtesy of Lucie Ahl, a team of Devon ladies were able to visit the All England Club at Wimbledon and play a a match. Winning 5-4 added a final gloss to the day.
Lucy said " We had some fantastic weather and played some great tennis. Everyone had the opportunity to walk around the grounds, go on to Centre Court, into the Royal Box and Members enclosure. Using the members' changing room was a big highlight for the girls! (these are used by the seeded players during the Championships). We also had lunch and tea in the Members lounge - a great experience for all the girls."
