Exmouth Tennis & Fitness Centre ran a red and a green Mini Tour event in this lead up time to Christmas.
Some players had travelled considerable distances to take part and organiser Myles Fletcher was impressed by the players' attitude both on and off the court.
In the red ball event Euan Greenslade from the Tarka Tennis Centre, Barnstaple and Evan Perkins from Newton Poppleford & Harpford Tennis Club both won all 5 of their matches. Well done to all competitors, some of whom were experiencing their first taste of competition.
Recently qualified Tennis Leaders, Exmouth junior players Josie Culliford and Michaela Sortenbeker were on court supervisors and did a good job in their first experience of tournament officiating...future referees in the making hopefully!
In the green ball competition, Chris Halse from the South Devon Tennis Centre won all his matches to gain maximum points and it was great to see Johanna Kathi as sole girls' representative!
