Devon Ladies 50s' multi-tasking team-member Annie, not only played excellent tennis but found time to produce a superb home-made lunch for the latest home match versus Somerset!
A gloriously sunny day without any breeze left some of the ladies wilting somewhat on Torquay's clay courts as the temperatures soared. All the Devon ladies fought extremely hard against a very competent Somerset team narrowly losing out 3 rubbers to 2. Both teams thoroughly enjoyed the chat and wonderful lunch (particularly the pavlova - team favourite) whilst sitting in some much welcomed shade on the patio.
The team of Annie, Julie, Lorraine, Caroline and Wendy slept soundly that night!
