The team, Channelle Green, Katie Leck and Libby McNally, had a great start against Cornwall giving them a good warm up game to help their confidence and giving them a good base on which to face the tough Somerset team.
Chanelle Green had an outstanding match going 3-1 down in the first set, then winning the 2nd set and match tiebreak. She played extremely well and kept bouncy and positive even when she was losing.
Libby Mcnally also had a close match with nearly every game going to deuce, when it came to match point Libby played the ball, building the rally gradually before attacking the shot down the line for a clear winner, what a pint to finish on.
After winning their box on day 1 they then played Wiltshire in the semi finals. Katie Leck had a mammoth match lasting 1hour and 40 minutes against a hard hitting player. Katie played great tennis thinking about the point and working hard in every rally.
Having swept Wiltshire aside Devon then met Avon in the final who proved a step too far.
Team Captain, Hannah Miller said, "All the 3 girls played fantastic tennis and I was very proud to be their team captain."
