Our girls team, playing at Devizes, finished in a very creditable 4th place losing to eventual winners Avon in the semi finals and Gloucestershire in the 3rd/4th play-off. Team captian Debbie Hale said, "The girls faced some tough matches over the weekend but they were up for the challenge and played some great tennis. I am very proud of the way they competed and worked as a team. Well done and thank you"

Our boys travelled to Burnham on Sea where they played with grit and determination to achieve 3rd place. They lost the semi final to eventual winners Somerset and like the girls, found themselves facing Gloucestershire in the 3rd/4th place play-off. Gloucestershire had narrowly beaten them in the box round and the boys were determined to reverse that result which they did in style!
Captain Will McNally said, "Although it was disappointing to not qualify for the finals, the boys were fantastic and worked so hard together with a wonderful team spirit. It was great to work with and help such a committed and dedicated group of boys – the future looks bright for Devon tennis!"
