The Over 40 ladies team took on Hertfordshire at the Exmouth Tennis & Leisure Centre on 11th March in the Veterans' Inter County Championships.
Hot on the heels of her great performance in the Veteran World Team Championships, Jo Louis had a fine opening match against the Herts number 1 player, Bridie Amos, winning 6-3, 7-6. Pippa Britton in the number 2 singles did not fare so well but two strong douubles matches from Jackie Nesbitt and partner Karen Clark and also the partnership of Jo Louis and Pippa Britton saw Devon take the match 4-1
