The AEGON GB Pro Series $75,000 women's event will again be at the Tarka Tennis Centre in Barnstaple over October half term 2013 & will see some of the best women players on the tour descend on the town.
This is quite a coup for Tarka as other centres from around the country also had to apply and with only the one $75,000 event up for grabs, Tarka came out as the best venue to run the event.
"A lot of hard work goes into the event every year in terms of promotion and preparing the venue so that players, spectators and sponsors are all catered for. Helping players feel welcome and giving everyone a great experience is worth the hard work and it is a great to have that recognised by coming out above all the other centres" said Director of Tennis Chris Gill, " We will strive to make it bigger and better next year".
