Congratulations to Steve Davies of Victoria Avenue who won the Bournemouth Gardens Tennis Club Grade 5 Adult event held at the centre on Sunday 11th December.
Twelve players entered the event which was full of entertaining tennis on the wet artificial grass courts. Steve came through his box of three by winning both matches in straight sets. Steve had this to say on his victory
Thanks very much to Chris and the BGTC team for hosting a great singles tournament. Despite the gloomy weather everyone had a great time and the whole event was played in a friendly and competitive atmosphere. I am really looking forward to the next one but will need another lesson from Matt to keep my game sharp!’
