Dorset youngster Owen Blakeley is experiencing some of his best form in 2013 after a series of good results at regional grade three events in the south of England.
Blakeley was the winner of the grade three Boy’s 9 & under event at Worthing and has since followed up that result with two semi-final finishes at the grade three Powder Bryrne Southampton event and at the grade three Wey Valley tournament, both for the same age group.
These results have seen the promising young star climb the South West Regional Tour Leaderboard to 2nd place and he will no doubt have his sights set on topping the table in the near future.
Blakeley’s performances have earned him several noteworthy invitations including; to join the South West Performance group and to be part of the LTA Regional Training Camps.
The youngster will also be playing in the National Tour Grade 2 event in Cambridge in December and a good performance there will surely be one of the best things he’ll experience this Christmas.
