The 9 and Under county Cup was played at Taunton on Saturday 17th July. The team selected to represent Dorset was Ben Samuel, Toby Samuel, Thomas Powell, Erin Richardson, Danielle Sebata and Erika Dodridge. The team was captained by West Hants Club Coach, Roger Dibblin. Dorset competed against Somerset, Cornwall and Devon. The tournament was played on a best of three tie break matches and all the team played singles and doubles. Everyone performed brilliantly showing great sportsmanship and teamwork. At the end of a very exciting days tennis it came down to a mixed doubles match between Dorset and Somerset to decide the winners. Dorset won in the deciding tie break where Thomas and Danielle showed great resilience under pressure. Well done to all the team and thanks to the support of their parents to make it possible.
