National Premier League Finals At Virgin Active Wearside.

The 2012 National Premier Tennis Finals came to a conclusion over last
weekend at Virgin Active Wearside.

Fourteen teams from around the UK won through to the four day finals including the hosts from Wearside with some fantastic exciting matches played as well.

Virgin Active Warwickshire eventually came out on top 4/0 in the Final
against Bromley Tennis Academy. The Midlands Club had Davis Cup player Dan Evans leading their team backed up by Tom Burn, Marcus Willis, and Maniel Baines and were very well deserved winners.

Group Head of Racquets for Virgin Active Gary Stewart was very pleased with the event saying,

"The event was a great success for all concerned. The support we had from sponsors, spectators and the staff from Virgin Active Wearside was immense. We look forward to helping make the event bigger and better next year!"
