The annual Player Plus event was held at Virgin Active Wearside during half term and saw 16 boys and 4 girls compete over 2 days.
The player plus event is a unique event because it follows the Davis Cup style, where the player's coaches are allowed on court during the match. They can recieve coaching at the change of ends, so it's a great experience for all involved.
There was a boys 12&U event, boys 16&U event and girls 16&U event that took place, and everone had a great time. All of the matches were played in great spirit and the players really benefitted from having the support and knowledge of the coaches after every few games.
