Priceless Volunteers!

Where would we be without our volunteers?

Once again David Lloyd Teesside have had tremendous support from a number of young (and old!) volunteers at the Winter Mini Red League fixtures.  Without them we simply would not be able to run the events and they each contribute massively, whether that be umpiring matches, entering scores on the laptop, doing the Presentation or simply encouraging the young players.

Organiser Jo Cunliffe was proud and very grateful about the team's efforts over the 5 months and would like to personally thank,

Ketan Kandola, Mia Crawford, Alex Davison, Brandon Cheung, Kristian Lamb, Samantha Cornelius, Victoria Cornelius, Melissa Lowe, Elliot Shaw and all the parents who volunteered their time (had to forgo coffees for a couple of hours!!!!).

Melissa Lowe also did the Mini League volunteering record by helping in both the Mini Red (morning session) and Orange event on the evening of January 7.  This was a mean feat particularly considering she fit it around her own individual coaching lesson from 7am-8am, then a squad in the afternoon...oh and not forgetting to eat!  Helen (Melissa's Mum) sat at Lloyds the full day gossiping with other members and eating maltezers to get her through it!!!!

For the Cornelius's - we are almost sure they have been volunteering since the Leagues started in 2006, with Alex started the trend and now Victoria and Samantha continuing the legacy...next stop Ellie!

So well done to all of you....you should be proud of your commitment and inspiring the next generation of tennis players.
