Saturday 13th October saw 140 members and friends pack in to the Preston & Eaglescliffe Social Club for Yarm Tennis Club Annual Presentation Night.
With an Olympic theme, the tables were decorated in red white and blue cloths and similar coloured balloons which set the scene for an enjoyable evening.
The largest proportion of awards went to juniors but with senior and vets championships also included there was much to cheer and clap.
A special award was made to Lucy Farrar in recognition of her Olympic Torch run and the final award raised the loudest cheer and applause of the evening with the award of the club junior of the year to Faye Lancaster.
The evening finished with a superb buffet and thanks from the Club Chairman, Martin Williams to Anne Clayton for the tremendous amount of time and effort spent organising the event and to all the ladies involved in providing such an excellent buffet.
