DAY 1
What a fantastic start to the tournament! The sun was shining as all 9 courts were in action. The ladies were busy in the kitchen, with the smell of bacon butties coming through the window, a selection of home made cakes to choose from and most important some excellent tennis to watch played in a competitive but friendly manner.
The 8&Under’s had a brilliant time and their competition was completed – 6 boys and 2 girls competed in a Round Robin of 8. It was a delight to run, and thanks to the volunteers Alex Platts, Will Dutton, Sophie Huggins and Faye Edemenson, without whom it wouldn't have been so successful. Joel Gibson was victorious in the end, with Zac Rhodes as runner up (pictured).
