The Yarm Girls 18&U team won a very competitive 2012/13 NE Winter League and received the wonderful prize of ground passes for the middle Saturday of the Championships.
Although it was an early start, the girls had a fantastic day trip to SW19, enjoying some breath-taking tennis and glorious weather. The team are seen here enjoying the beautiful grounds just outside No1 Court. From left to right Emma Farrar, Faye Lancaster, Lucy Farrar, Sarah Zaranko, Hannah Brazell and Charlotte Williams. Unfortunately the 7th member of the squad, Faye Edemenson, could not make it; but the girls made sure she wasn’t forgotten and bought her a memento from the Wimbledon Shop! It was a brilliant day, enjoyed by all.
