Dan Bennett impressed on his way to victory at the National Tennis Centre in the U18 Nike Winter National Tour finals.
The event took place from 14 - 16 February and consisted of the top 16 18&U players in the country who qualified for the finals. He knocked out the No 1 seed Dominic Beesley in the first round in 3 sets having narrowly lost the first set on a tiebreak. He followed that with victories over Miles McDowall and Ewan Moore to reach the final against Luke Simeone. Dan lost the first set but came back strongly in the second to take it 6-0 and then clinched the match winning the third set which went to a tiebreak 7-4!
Many congratulations to Dan on his achievement especially as he is still just short of his 16th birthday!
