There was much excitement this year with the trip down to Wrexham for the Durham and Cleveland 14&Under County Cup.
We had a good side and we were looking forward to it immensely. The team for this year's trip was: 1. Lois Page 2. Chante Malo 3. Beth Laybourne 4. Vaniya Moradi 5. Halle Pringle (all pictured).
In the group stages the team were up against Lancashire and Shropshire. Lancashire proved too strong for the girls, and they lost 5-1. However, they pulled it back with a great 6-0 win vs Shropshire, putting them 2nd place in the group.
They then went on to play Herefordshire & Worcestershire in the playoff's and battled hard. In the end they just lost 4-2.
Well done to everyone who played, it was a great weekend!
