County Cup
Junior and Senior Teams representing Durham & Cleveland enter the annual County Cup. Please see information below about selection criteria and team captains.
Representing Durham & Cleveland
Teams should be selected primarily based on ratings/rankings although circumstances may dictate you making selection on other criteria. To be considered for selection a player must be ranked in the top 12 of their age group, have played in a minimum of six LTA qualifying tournaments in the appropriate age group and play regularly for their club teams.
Additional guidance on selection:
a) if players are seen to be of the same standard the older player to be selected.
b) places can be available for doubles players although they must meet the same criteria as 3 above
c) because of timing of rating changes, selection of U10 and U12 teams will be at the discretion of the captain and selection committee.
d) all players are expected to be playing a minimum of three hours per week.
