We have an exciting opportunity to develop and grow the club in partnership with the Lawn Tennis Association. You’ll work closely with the Clubs Committee to produce and agree a 5-year business plan together with a financial budget which you will play a key role in delivering.
We are at a pivotal point in our journey and we require a business minded individual to lead the team and play a key role in re-establishing the venue as one of the country’s leading clubs.
You’ll be required to lead from the front in both sporting and social activities as well as getting involved at the sharp end.
You’ll have a proven track record in strategic management, with particular skills in producing growth and profitability in challenging business environments.
Knowledge and experience of finance and marketing will be needed to shape the business model and expand the club’s membership and revenue streams.
This means a flexible attitude towards hours of work are needed in order to be at the club at the key times.
We are passionate about sport and ideally would look to appoint someone who has worked in a sport/fitness or leisure industry previously, however this is not essential.
The salary offered is c.£35,000 dependent on skills and experience plus a bonus opportunity. As an added extra the successful candidate will benefit from the free use of our clubs facilities.
