Essex Men gain promotion in the Inter County Grass Court Championships

After a hard fought tournament Essex Senior Men gained promotion in the Inter County Grass Court Championships in July.

The final warm up event in the preparations for the 2013 Inter-County Summer Grass Court Championships was held at West Worthing LTC during week commencing Monday 22^nd July 2013.

Frinton Junior Open Grade 3 2013

Over 200 players from 17 counties entered the various events at the 64^th Annual Frinton Junior Open Tournament 2013 - this year superbly run by Matt Byford.

Tennis Event at Abbotts Park in Leyton builds on Olympic Legacy

Families gathered at a Leyton park the weekend of 17/18 August to take part in the first ever Great British Tennis Weekend. The event, organised by the Lawn Tennis Association, took place at 39 venues across the UK, including at Abbotts Park and was staged to build on the legacy of the London 2012 Olympic Games.

Glorious sun for the Marconi Junor Tournament

The inaugural Marconi Tennis Club Junior Open Tournament was held over 2 days on the 24^th and 25^th July in glorious sunshine.   The grade 4 tournament event was played on the 6 new excellent courts at the Chelmsford home of Marconi.
