Wooford Wells Slazenger Open Tennis Tournament

The Woodford Wells Club in Monkhams Lane hosted the thirty fourth annual tennis tournament which attracted over 340 entrants from as far afield as Yorkshire. In agreement with the referee Graeme Luckin, it was decided to convert it from just a junior tournament to an open event.

Essex Junior represents Great Britain

Congratulations and well done to 13 year old Essex Player Annali Olivelle who represented GB against France and claimed victory.  She was also part of the very successful Essex Ladies Team who took part in the Aegon Winter County Cup and gained promotion to Group 2.

Katie Barker to run the London Marathon in memory of Harri Varda

Essex Player Katie Barker will run the London Marathon next year in memory of her friend and fellow player Harri Varda who very sadly passed away earlier this year at the young age of 14.

Essex Tennis Office Xmas Opening Times

The Essex Tennis Office will be closing for Xmas at 3pm on Wednesday 23rd December and will re open at 10 am on Tuesday 5 January 2016.
