In October 2016 The Woodford Wells Club in Monkhams Lane Woodford Green hosted the thirty fifth annual tennis tournament. Offering events from 9U to over 50 years of age the tournament attracted over 350 entrants and was expertly refereed by Graeme Luckin for the third successive year.
We have just received the news that Ron Ling a member of Frinton LTC sadly passed away yesterday. Ron will be known to many tennis people in Essex. He was 99 years old and played tennis until he was 90. He was formerly a member of Cranston Park LTC.
