On Saturday 15th December, a 'Tinsel Tennis' at Ongar Tennis Club took place which involved the children wearing something festive, decorating their racquets and playing lots of fun festive games. A great time was had by all!
Registration is now open for the Schools Tennis Road Show 2013, which will be visiting 16 venues across Great Britain in the Spring Term, including Hatfield on Wednesday 20th March 2013.
ECLTA Councillor David Armstrong was honoured at the recent AGM and made a Life Vice President of the Association. Thanks go to David for all his hard work on behalf of Essex Tennis.
It was another good weekend for Essex at 12 Counties – the U18 girls won their division comfortably and boys finished 3rd overall. Essex are now currently heading the division so we are on course for promotion – two more age groups to come – 12U & 14U.
After a valiant effort the team of U18 Essex Boys finished in third place in the 12 Counties.
