Vicky Mumby Aegon Coach of the Month

Vicky Mumby has won the Aegon Coach of the Month award for October for her amazing work with junior players at Ongar Tennis Club in Essex.

During her time at the club, Vicky has built up a strong junior presence with more than 100 youngsters playing regularly at Ongar.

Gidea Park Indoor Tournament

The first of the Essex Winter Indoor Tournaments 16 & under took place at David Lloyd Gidea Park on the 1st November. As designated by the LTA the new format “First 4 Tennis “ was used. It was disliked by the players ,organisers and referees.

 

Essex Tennis coaches Day 2015

A very successful Coaches Day was organised by Essex Tennis.  Over 30 coaches attended.  Thanks to the Tutors and Coaches and Little Heath School.  Top Day!

Yvonne Dennison - Whitehall Tennis Club

We are very sorry to announce the sad passing yesterday of Yvonne Dennison.  Yvonne served Whitehall Tennis Club for over 50 years.

Promotion for Ladies and Mens Essex Teams in the Aegon Inter County Cup

The Aegon Winter Inter County Cup took place over last weekend and it was good news for both Essex Teams!
