Essex Tennis Clubs ran Great British Tennis Weekends throughout the summer.  Many people attended and a great time was had by players and clubs alike.

66th Annual Frinton Junior Open Tournament

The 66^th Annual Frinton Junior Open Tournament took place from Sunday 9 to Saturday 15 August 2015

159 entrants from across the UK, mostly from East Region (Essex, Suffolk, Cambs, Herts)

Essex County Championships - Thorpe Bay LTC

The County's most prestigious junior tennis tournament of the year, The Essex County Championships was hosted by Thorpe Bay LTC during the last week of August. The event drew almost 250 players from around the County across 21 events.

Road to Wimbledon Essex Finals

The Essex Finals of this prestigious Tournament were held at Redbridge Sports Centre on Saturday 27^th June and Saturday 4^th July.   The competitors were all either winners or runners up in their Club under 14 Tournament, rated 7.1 or lower.  

Woodford Wells Ladies represent GB in the European Clubs Championships

Essex player Eden Silva shortlisted for Women of the Future Awards

Congratulations to Essex Player Eden Silva who's been shortlisted in the Sports Section of the Women of the Future Award 2015. Good luck Eden.

David Lloyd Gidea Park Junior Tournament

The players enjoyed tennis and superb facilities at the Club. Unfortunatgely, the weather was not kind and the indoor facilities were put to full use.   Our thanks go to Emily De’ath, DLGP General Manager and her staff, who looked after everyone very well.

Essex Tennis Awards - Closing date extended

We would like to invite Clubs to nominate volunteer members and coaches for the annual Essex Tennis Awards.These awards provide an opportunity for clubs and individuals to recognise the work of their coach or one of their many unpaid volunteers. The closing date has now been extended to 15 November.

Essex Winter Individual Tournament closing date extended

There is still time to enter the Essex Winter Individual Tournament.  Please note the closing date for entries has now been extended from 4th October to 11th October.
