Nominations for the Gloucestershire LTA awards are required by 31st October 2016.
There are 8 Award categories:
- Volunteer of the Year
- Young Volunteer of the Year
- Aegon Coach of the Year
- Highland Spring Club of the Year
- Community Venue Award
- Education Award
- Disability Award
- Outstanding Achievement

In addition we have our own Gloucestershire Mary Eyre Young Player Award, this is an award in memory of Miss Mary Eyre MBE, who was committed to developing junior tennis and is for a boy and girl, who has achieved and progressed in the last year, 2015/2016. The young players will be between 14 and 16 years old ( born , 2000 , 2001 or 2002 ) and the entry will be made by the club or the coach.
GLTA will announce the winner at the AGM, 5th December 2016
The winners will receive £100 to be spent on further coaching
A successful junior will show the following qualities:-
- Enthusiasm and commitment to tennis
- Some competition success
- Loyalty to their club (member of a team, helping younger players etc.)
- Aware of fair play and the spirt of competing
- Potential to develop further
