NOTICE OF LEAGUE 2018 ANNUAL MEETING

The Annual Meeting of the Gloucestershire Tennis League will be held on Thursday 22^nd March 2018 at Oxstalls Indoor Tennis Centre, Gloucester, GL2 9DW, commencing at 7.30pm.  If a club representative is unable to attend, please submit apologies in advance to the Honorary Secretary (sally.pendry@gmail.com). 

Agenda and Proposals.  The Agenda is attached.  Clubs wishing to submit additional agenda items, including rule change proposals, must provide them in writing or by e-mail, to be received by the Honorary Secretary by 4^th March 2018.  

Winter League (ITEM 3).  Included in this Item will be the presentation of trophies to the divisional winners of the 2017/18 Winter Floodlit League. 

Summer League 2018  (ITEM 4).   Entries are now being processed. Team entries should be received by 15th February and the finalised divisions will be made available on the online tournament planner. Fixture arrangements should only be made between 23^rd February and 22^nd MARCH.  All necessary information and forms (entries, player nominations, fees, etc) can be located on the ‘Resources’ page.[1]

Team Fees (ITEM 5).   The Committee proposes no increase in the team fees for the 14^th consecutive year, i.e. remaining at £10.00 for all leagues, Summer, Winter and O60’s. Clubs are required to pay Summer team fees by 31^st March 2018.  The subscription form is also located on the ‘Resources’ page but please ensure if payments are made online that your club is referenced on the transfer and that a subscription form is also submitted.

Amendment to Regulations (ITEM 6). The committee will propose that all players must be registered with British Tennis and any results recorded with ‘unknown players’ will have points forfeited.

Any club wishing to submit a proposal should do so by 4^th March (this should be e-mailed to the Hon Sec)

Election of Officers (ITEM 7).    All the current committee members offer themselves for re-election.
