“There has been fantastic level of support & tennis within the county this year with 55 schools with 130 teams & 520 children competiting at their local tennis festival” says Helen Stevens, Tennis development Officer for Aspire Trust. “This is all thanks to the local coaches encouraging schools & their teachers to put in teams and the teachers & parents for enabling them to organise time out of school to represent their schools. It’s a wonderful achievement by all”.
Both competitions are supported by Gloucestershire Lawn Tennis Association who oversee the competiton & development of tennis within Gloucestershire.
