Then join us at LAL for a life-changing experience coaching tennis to international young learners throughout July and August 2016. Residential contract, newly qualified coaches welcome.

Venue Overview

LAL run a British Council-accredited summer centre based at St. Swithun’s School, Winchester, for international students aged 11-17. This is a residential contract including full room and board and great tennis facilities.

Job Specification

LAL UK Summer Schools are looking for the following:

• Responsible and outgoing LTA-qualified coach (any level).
• Enhanced DBS dated within 3 years or willing to get one (we can help with this).
• Experience with and enjoys working with young people.
• Available from 9^th July – 9^th August 2016.

This is a fantastic opportunity for you to develop your coaching career and leadership skills as you will take responsibility for managing the our Game Set Match (tennis coaching) course.

Typical training sessions will include:

• Introductions and Warm Up Sessions
• Technique and Development Workshops including: Forehand & Backhand, Volleying
• Tennis Games: Tennis Cricket, Around The World, Prisoners, Jail Break, Texas Tennis

You will be well supported by your school’s Leisure Manager and by us here at LAL UK Summer Schools HQ.

This will be a dual role with activity leader duties, involving helping out with events at the summer school and accompanying students on excursions. Leading the tennis course pays extra on top of the Activity Leader salary.
