Josh Goodall, currently ranked British number 5 from Basingstoke will be flying the flag for British Tennis at the AEGON Pro Series $15K Futures event in Tipton next week.
The 24-year-old tennis star will compete in the prestigious international tennis tournament which attracts top players from all over the world.
Goodall joins a group of talented British players competing at the AEGON Pro Series at Tipton which runs from 9th March. Goodall will be joined by fellow Hampshire player 21 year old Burnham Arlidge.
The AEGON Pro Series events feature many of the world’s up and coming players and for many it offers the first step on the professional ladder, with many players progressing to compete on the main ATP and WTA Tours. It is also a breeding ground for Britain’s best young players, including Team AEGON and AEGON FutureStars, to learn their trade against strong and often experienced international opposition.
Entry is based on ranking and Goodall has earned his place at the event following a successful season on the court.
