Absolute Competition

With the spring weather finally arriving, players and their parents came to Absolute Tennis to participate in competitions for the first time in half term.




Absolute Tennis hosted the events at The Mountbatten School, Romsey.  Director of Tennis, Martin Terrill said, ''The children did exceptionally well, especially as most of them were competing for the first time.  The players grew in confidence thoroughout the morning which showed in their match play.''

Archie Callaghan won the singles Red Event, closely followed by Ben Wells with Hayden Green taking third place out of a draw of 16 players. In the doubles event James Fuller and Oliver Tennent were on top, without loosing a match.  In the afternoon it was the 9&U's turn in the Orange Event which saw Corey Hill victorious with Jonathan Nash closely behind only missing 1st place by games difference!  Finally Sam Gale took 3rd place in a well faught, close competition.
