Congratulations to Southampton’s Gaby Taylor who was a Semi Finalist at the Tennis Europe event, Les Petits As, in Tarbes, France.
Tarbes is a Tennis Europe Category 1 event in and offers the British players competing, the opportunity to gain experience against some of the best players in the world in their respective age groups.
On route to the semi finals Gaby defeated Tessah Andrianjafitrimo (France) 2-6 6-0 6-4, Mariam Bolkvadze (Georgia) 6-1 6-0, Emma Christine Higuchi (USA) 7-6(2) 6-2 and Zaineb El Houari (Morocco) 6-4 7-5. She lost in the semi finals to the 11th seed, Romania’s Jaqueline Adina Cristian who went on to win the tournament.
