A group of teenagers at Swanmore Tennis Club have officially trained as Tennis Leaders this month.
The eight teenagers all completed the LTA Tennis Leader course with coach Bash Kara at the Tennis Club over the last 3 months.
All of the group have demonstrated the skills required to obtain the qualification, which is the first step onto the tennis coaching ladder.
Swanmore Tennis Club has now offered to support the group to go on and obtain their level 1 coaching qualification next.
The teenagers, (from left to right) were Dan Shaw, Max Sandman, Dan Lane, Hilary Robinson, Tom Martin, Chloe Piper, Molly Dineen and Matt Hardaker.
A member of the Club commented, “it’s great that all the teenagers have been rewarded for their hard work. They’re all great role models to the younger juniors, and will hopefully go on to achieve even more in tennis”.
