Alverstoke Lawn Tennis Squash and Badminton Club was bathed in Spring-like weather last Sunday to welcome two ex-professional Tennis players along to the aptly named Extravaganza.
Attendees were treated to coaching sessions and tips from Jamie Baker and Danny Sapsford (who have both competed at Wimbledon and for Great Britain in the Davis Cup) in a range of sessions, from Mini Red (Ages 4-8) through to Adult Beginners and finally Adult Team Players. All abilities and ages were welcome.
There were fastest serve competitions, raffles, food and to round off the day an enthralling exhibition from the Ex-Pro’s along with Tennis Coaches from the Club. There were over 70 attendees to this fantastic event and each non-member in attendance was given a free 6 week trial membership to enjoy the club facilities at no extra cost.
