Day 3 vs Staffordshire
The last day of the tournament and each County in the Division had 1 win each. All positions in the Division were still to play for.

The plan was to get as many singles matches as possible. We managed to win all but Aisling’s match, who had a close match against a very tough opponent. This put us 5-1 up going to the doubles, but still needing another win to gain first place in the division. This win came from Lorelei and Izzy in their doubles. Aisling and Charlotte lost in a very close 3rd set tie break.
The final results of the group were:
1st Hampshire
2nd Buckinghamshire
3rd Staffordshire
4th Cambridgeshire
I was really proud of how the team pulled together on the last day to get the result. It was a great weekend and with such a young team we will be looking forward to challenging in Division 1 next year.
