The David Lloyd Southampton U18 Boys team will be playing in the AEGON Team Tennis National Finals on Saturday 25th July at the National Tennis Centre in London.
The AEGON Team Tennis competition is a National event which features some of the strongest junior players in Britain battling it out in Regional fixtures with only two teams making it to the finals at the NTC.
The team featuring Nick Sayer, Mike Johnson, Jordan Robinson, Ashtey Pauls, Jacques Sheehan, Robert Mitchell, Arron Keen, Alex Gasson defeated some notable opposition along the way;
Defeated : Taunton Tennis Academy, Bath High Performance Centre, David Lloyd Bristol, Esporta Cardiff and Esporta Brighton High Performance Centre.
In the National Finals Southampton will play against Chandos Tennis Academy.
Elsewhere
Two colleges from Hampshire are being represented at the AEGON Team Tennis Schools National Championships Final being held at Queenswood School in Hertfordshire. Barton Peveril College(Eastleigh) are competing in the Boys event whilst Peter Symmonds College (Winchester) are competing in the Girls event.
