The Eastleigh Open Junior Grade 3 tournament gets underway on Monday 25th May and is set to attract some of the region’s most promising junior tennis players. The event which has been running for over 15 years has been previously won by British Davis Cup and Hampshire player Josh Goodall, currently ranked 219 in the world.
This year will see players from across Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Surrey , Dorset, Sussex and Middlesex battle it out for the chance to win one of the highly sought after Eastleigh Open trophies as well as 250 ranking points.
Elsewhere some of the County’s other top players will be battling it out on the clay courts at Queenswood Tennis Centre, Hertfordshire, as they bid to prepare early for the upcoming Junior Nationals this summer.
