The JEM Tennis Academy Hamble held its' official Open Day last Saturday with over a hundred local adults and children descending on the four new floodlit facility at the Hamble Community Sports College.
The new club is being jointly funded by Hamble Community Sports College, Eastleigh Borough Council & the LTA and will provide local school children and Hamble residents with a fantastic environment in which to play tennis.
The next stage of the tennis plan for the JEM Tennis Academy, which is being led by Colin Murphy, an LTA licensed coach, is to begin the large outreach programme which will take tennis to hundreds of local school children via primary & secondary school delivery. There are also plans to hold junior and adult competitions at the new club which will allow even more people the chance to use the great new facility.
