Girls performance tennis is going from strength to strength within Hampshire as the county now has four players ranked within the top 10 of their age groups nationally.
The AEGON British Tennis rankings are published fortnightly and list Gabriella Taylor as British Number 1 in the 12 & Under age group, followed by Natalie Sayer as British Number 5 in the 14 & Under age group, Ella Taylor ranked 8th in the 16 & Under age group and Taro Keens as British Number 7 in the 18 & Under rankings.
All four of these players will be competing this summer in the AEGON Clay Court Championships as well as the AEGON British Junior National Championships
There is also a host of younger girls on the rise throughout the County including Thandiwe Mlambo, aged 9, Esther Adeshina, aged 8, Astrid Williams, aged 8 and Mhari McCulloch, aged 7.
