Team Challenge launches nationally in September 2016. Team Challenge is a local, fun, team competition aimed at recreational standard players in venues across Great Britain. Largely players will be inexperienced in playing any tennis competition. The premise is for a cluster organiser based at a venue (e.g. Head Coach) to link with a number of local venues to them (within 30mins) to run a 1 day, team competition lasting approximately 3 hours. The competition will predominantly take pl ace between September-March to avoid the Aegon Team Tennis season.
The purpose of the role is to provide support to cluster organisers in the county with the delivery of each Team Challenge event. The Co-Ordinator will support cluster organisers on attracting venues to play, finalising the format and date of each event and ensuring results and feedback are submitted to the LTA Competitions Team.
