Juniors of all ages and abilities have started competing in the Winter Team Tennis competition this month.
In total, over 250 players will be competing in teams against other clubs from across Hampshire & Isle of Wight.
Kingsgate Tennis Club in Winchester have got off to a great start, and currently sit top of the 8&U league, whilst Totton & Eling Tennis Centre lead the way in the 10&U event.
In the older age groups, leagues are currently running for 12&U, 14&U and 16&U players. Thornden Tennis Club are unbeaten in the 12&U league whilst juniors from Alverstoke will be taking on local rivals Lee-on-Solent in the 14&U event.
The league runs until 28th Feb 2011, with all players receiving a Team Tennis polo shirt and the winners gaining medals and the Winter Team Tennis Trophies.
