On the one sunny Sunday morning in November, Littleton Tennis Club ran a special Cardi-Mo Tennis session to help raise funds for the ever growing Movember* charity.
Players of all ages & all abilities turned up, showing off the impressive moustaches they’d grown during the month - or artistically drawn on for the day! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the fun filled, hour-long session run by Head Coach, Chris Hughes, and over £400 was raised for the charity.
After the active cardio session, many players stayed on to relish a well-earned coffee or glass of squash in the club’s new courtside cabin.
Chris is delighted by the level of support shown by club members & friends, and will now run family cardio tennis every Sunday morning. As one dad said after the Cardi-mo session, ‘It’s been great to do something with the whole family - we’ve all had fun together and plenty of exercise and it really didn’t matter that I’m not the world’s greatest tennis player!’

*During November each year, in the UK and throughout the world, thousands of men grow moustaches to raise awareness of men’s health issues, specifically prostate cancer and testicular cancer, and at the same time raise some vital funds.
